Adi Piersol

Adi Piersol leads the team responsible for managing several Library sites, including ThinkSpace, postgraduate study space The Quarter, and the new Susan Wakil Health Building Library. She provides strategic direction of the services provided at these sites, and also leads the promotion and development of the Library’s brand and marketing activities, along with innovative service models to support the University’s research and student communities.

Before joining the Library, Adi worked as an International Student Project and Events Officer, developing new orientation programs and events to welcome new international students to the University of Sydney and support their transition and retention. She also managed several major government scholarship schemes at the University.

Adi is passionate about leadership, networking and student engagement. She sees libraries as a gathering place where the use of space, services, and resources create networks, neighbourhoods and engagement.

Her aim is for the University Library to enhance its reputation as a second home for students – their go-to location on campus to feel safe, supported and inspired.
