A leading member of the Tew Circle and chaplain to Charles I, Henry Hammond followed the 'via media' methodology in theological controversy. He sought to reconcile Arminian and Calvinist views of predestination and defended Hugo Grotius against John Owen's attacks. This work addresses six queries about Christian behaviour and belief including the marriage of the sister of one's wife, polygamy and infant baptism.
