This is the third and last lifetime edition of Newton's Principia. It is therefore the final revised authorised edition that Newton saw through the press just before his death in March 1727. Such was Newton's meticulous attention to the work that a comparison with the first edition reveals that hardly a page has not been altered in some significant way.
