The University of Sydney Library acknowledges that our buildings, collections, and practices exist on unceded Aboriginal lands. We recognise the diversity and knowledges of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and students across all the lands the University stands on, and respect the ongoing connection Aboriginal people have to these lands, their cultural practices, knowledge systems and histories. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, who have handed down custodianship to each generation for more than 60,000 years.

The University of Sydney Library's Peer Learning Advisor (PLA) Team has been recognised with the Australasian PASS Alliance Outstanding Peer Educator Team Award, celebrating their exceptional commitment to student learning and innovative approach to peer support.

The award specifically commends the PLA team for their impressive work integrating innovative technology into the learning experience and using creative solutions to enhance course delivery and assessment outcomes.

Celebrating Excellence in Peer Education

In addition to the Library's team success, Arianna, a Business School PASS Facilitator, has been awarded the Australasian Outstanding Senior Peer Learning Award for her individual contributions to the program.

Jessica, Coordinator of the University of Sydney PASS program for over 17 years, shared her thoughts on Arianna's achievement: "Arianna's dedication, leadership, and ability to inspire her peers embody the spirit of PASS. Her commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment has had a lasting impact on our students."
