Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

The University of Sydney Library acknowledges that our buildings, collections, and practices exist on unceded Aboriginal lands. We recognise the diversity and knowledges of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and students across all the lands the University stands on, and respect the ongoing connection Aboriginal people have to these lands, their cultural practices, knowledge systems and histories. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, who have handed down custodianship to each generation for more than 60,000 years.

We are excited to share that the new Reading List user interface has launched! This global interface upgrade brings a cleaner and more streamlined design to all institutions, focusing on:

  • Prioritising usability for smaller devices, particularly laptops
  • Optimising key workflows for academics
  • Improving resource accessibility for student
  • Enhancing alignment within Canvas

The key Reading List management workflows remain the same.

Our Library team has worked extensively behind the scenes, conducting comprehensive testing to ensure a smooth transition to the new interface. This upgrade reflects our ongoing commitment to improving the student experience and enhancing Library resources.

To help you navigate the new interface, we've created a Reading list user interface video (10:54 min) that walks through the key features and updates.

If you have any questions regarding Reading Lists, please contact the team via this contact form.
