Broken links

If a broken link prevents you from accessing an electronic resource, try these troubleshooting tips:

  • If you are using a bookmark link, try accessing the resource via the Library website instead. You may be using an outdated link.
  • If the link is from the Library catalogue and there are other links available under the “View Online” section of the item’s full record, please try the other links.
  • If you see an error message or a blank page:
    • Try opening the link in a different browser or via incognito mode.
    • Try clearing your current browser’s cookies and cache. For help with this, check your browser’s help page.

If the above does not resolve your issue, please contact the Library. To help us investigate, please provide the following information:

  • The full title of the resource and any other identifying details, so we can check the correct item.
  • The link you used to access the resource.
  • Did you access the resource from on-campus or from home?
  • How you attempted to access the resource. For example, via the Library catalogue, a database, the browse by subject page, or directly from the publisher’s website.
