Join us every Friday morning in the Fisher student kitchenette, from 9:30am to 10:30am, and enjoy a free breakfast with an assortment of cereals, toast, fruit and more - the perfect way to fuel up for the day! It is also a great chance to connect with other students, Peer Learning  Advisors (PLAs) and Library Staff.

Hit that afternoon study slump? Come by SciTech Library, Grab a free snack or a drink, and give yourself a quick recharge before getting back to work.

Cup of Care and Fresh Fruit 

This semester we will be giving out a Cup of Care - hot drinks, fresh fruit and a treat to keep you going through the week in each of our libraries - Fisher, Law, Scitech, Susan Wakil, the Con, and also Camden and the Quarter!

Free Yoga in the Great Hall 

Take a break during STUVAC with free yoga sessions in the Great Hall as part of Exam Ready Week. 

Led by a qualified instructor, these gentle sessions are designed to help you stretch, move, and recharge during the exam period. 

Tuesday 2 June
Session 1: 9am–9:45am
Session 2: 10am–10:45am

Wednesday 3 June
Session 3: 9am–9:45am
Session 4: 10am–10:45am

Please bring your own yoga mat, water bottle, and comfortable warm clothing.

Study Sessions in the Great Hall

Step into a truly unique study experience, sink into comfortable bean bags and cozy chairs, settle into a calm, inspiring atmosphere, and let the gentle sounds of live pipe organ music elevate your focus. 

Study in the Great Hall transforms a familiar routine into something special. You are invited to make the most of this stunning spacem with carefully curated background organ music creating the perfect study ambiance, punctuated by peaceful moments of silence for deep concentration.

Tuesday 2 June and Wednesday 3 June, from 11am to 3pm.

Support for students

  • Break up your study sessions

    • When studying, remember to take regular breaks to refresh and re-energise. Take a break for up to 30 minutes by using a BRB card so you don't lose your desk. 
     
    • Get a BRB card from our information desks, write the time you leave for your break and place it on the desk, so everyone knows when you'll be returning. Always take your valuables with you.
