About The Chicago Manual of Style

The Chicago Manual of Style covers several aspects of scholarly writing, including a section on citations. We recommend use of the 18th edition as this is the most current.   

The Chicago Manual of Style is often used by style is often used by academics and students writing in humanities disciplines including art, music and history. It provides guidelines for two styles of referencing:
